MuET Week!~ 7/7/2008~11/7/2008

FYI, MuET is a subject that what Pn. Carol calls 'Higher class English'. English is fun, so I suppose Muet will be fun too. Had lots of fun during MUet together with Pn. Carol when I was still in Seroja, but now its all about homework when you are stucked with Pn. Harminder in Teratai. She has the largest ears I have ever seen in my life~ I wonder if she comes out from the elves fairy tales or what.

I was informed about the MuET week 2 weeks ago. We were supposed to prepare for the MUet drama and we did but after Seroja spiltted into 2 class, Teratai only discussed once on the drama on their own after Seroja and Teratai decided to do their own drama. It doesnt matter anymore when you look at Pn. Harminder's attitude towards us when we wanted to use her period to discuss about it, even if its related to MuET. She must have hated drama very much ~_~

Nevermind lets get back to MUet week.

On tuesday, we had 'Win, draw or lose' and 'just a minute'. I signed up for Just A minute to practice my speaking skills infront of audience. I didnt thought of taking part in 'win, draw or lose' since I dont know how to play that. Fortunately, there weren't enough teams for the competition so they searched for people all over the place. Being on duty in Koperasi together with Sim Wuei, we were invited to join so we were very excited haha. It was easy; you get a question, draw and let your teammate guess. It seems easy, but it didnt turn out well for my team especially when I got the question 'Mission Impossible 3'. Oh my god, what can I draw?! Its really impossible. Maybe I m just not good in drawing, till they cant understand what I wanted them to guess =( I think my team got last in that competition.... The best was still Michelle's team that consisted of Seng Chye, Kentrick and Wai Yan. These smart people from Seroja really amazed us with their drawing skills and teamwork compability so I salute them =) In the end they won and they get to compete with seniors. Wai Yan is really a good artist as her drawing skills were good enough to express what she is trying to let the crowd guess. Although they lose to seniors, the score difference were just 2 so I think they are still kinda good =D

Just a Minute is quite easy yet most of us still failed to control our mouth. The rule is simple: you are supposed to talk on the topic given for a minute BUT you cant say the forbidden word. The word was 'and', a word that everyone use to link up their sentence. The star of this competition were Yong Fei and Sarah as they really can speak without using the forbidden word yet they entertained us with their creative way of speeching haha. Congratz to Yong Fei that has ruled this competition for two years since last year.

We were doing last minute work by planning the drama only on Tuesday so we dont have the time to practice. The script directors were Me, Chee Leong, Shu Ling and Sim Wuei. The main actors were me and Chee Leong. Guess what's our drama theme? The Homo's Life. Yup its a gay story... me and Chee Leong were the gays. Ever since from the start, I had never aimed for the competition but just playing this drama as an entertaining purpose to Form 6 students and to ourselves. In the end, it was gay enough to make them laugh and I felt happy because I achieved the motive: make the crowd laugh as much as possible. I even felt proud when I know that the crowd quiet down just to know what is happening in our drama. The script were funny enough(or probably too gay) till Sim Wuei laugh 'bwahahaha' before she narrate the drama.

On Friday, we had some unexpected seminar talk on 'how to obtain an interview'. It was useful and interesting so I will give the speaker 8/10. After recess, they had taboo running in my class. Its some guessing game again, but this time you can only describe it without face expressions; just words. There are prohibited words too. I took part together with Sim Wuei, Siau Chein and Shatish. Having the experience of not being able to express what I wanna say efficiently, I dare not take on the task of letting the teammates guess so Sim Wuei took the challenge. Unfortunately for us, the words were quite hard and Sim Wuei wasnt able to act for it. Its ok, Sim. Its just a game. As usual, Michelle's team performed well and they managed to drag the game to round three since they tied with Jessica's team for 2 times. In the end they still won. Congratz to Michelle and the gang!~

Overall, I actually took part in every competition that was held without me expecting it. Although I didnt win, I still find it fun and experience learning so I will definitely show myself more as much as possible in the upcoming events and competitions =)

Sports Day ---- 27/06/08

Surprisingly, SMK Taman Sea organized their Sports Day on 27th June this year. Compared to my previous school(SMK BU4), this is 3 months late and its a good thing for me because I get to participate in this event. =)

Two Weeks before the Sports Day, the committee of Blue House, Darren and Eng Eu ran all over the school just to recuit new marchers to get 30 marchers in total. I wondered why they got no one to take part. Since I was one of my NS camp best marchers, I decided to volunteer myself because I want to contribute to my house. I didnt know that there will be a marching competition so I march just for Blue House.

We started training on last Monday. The weather wasnt that hot and it encouraged me to go on. Unfortunately, the rest of the members except Yong Kang and Daniel were marching like undeads ~_~ I can march with my leg up to 90 degree, but as we go on it dropped till 45 degree together with my spirit since they were just too lazy to lift up their leg to the optimum height. I am not bragging myself, I think I m the top 3 marchers in that team since the rest has no spirit to march. They were just doing it for that 50 co-corriculum marks. Sigh.

Fortunately the situation gets better later on. I was happy because at least 90% of the team is able to synchronize after 5 days of training. With all the basics mastered on the 5th day, Eng Eu finally taught us the formation and Hakka Dance which he told us earlier. At least this school allows us to perform in marching after they banned POM POM(sport days will nvr be fun without pom pom =( ). The formation is a V shape and the hakka dance will be performed when we done the formation successfully. I wish there are pictures to be shown here.

We have always kept this hakka dance in secret so that no one else other than the team know what we have prepared. Its some secret weapon to us =P. It looks like some tribal dance, and I m familiar with it since we had other company performed it too during ns camp. We dont even know what were we chanting haha =X~

Finally on the Sports Day, we had the confidence to win after daily training of marching till 4.30pm (except for Sat and Sun). We reached the school around 6 because Eng Eu said he is going to 'decorate' us. Ok.... he painted our face half blue half white, gave us a dog bone necklace made out of cupboard, sprayed our hair into blue, gave us a head band that has shuttlecolt feathers on it and lastly, asked us to wear strings that has coconut leaves on it around our waist. We looked like some babarian that you cant even recognize who we are since our face were painted. *Will upload the pics soon*

During performance, we gave in our best and we shouted loudly when we should. For that, we had the audience cheered and clapped the loudest ever on that day especially when we do that hakka dance because the ending pose rox! All of this time I have been doing my best just to gain the best applause from the crowd for my house because that is what matters. We were happy that we did it with least mistakes after 10 days of training. *cried happily with tears*

At the end of the day, its where all the winners are announced. Marching and working as a team has brought 30 of us together and we shouted 'Hang Jebat' whenever any blue house member won a medal. We got 2nd for house decoration =) Finally, its time for the Marching Competition winner. The 2nd place goes to Green House and we clapped for them because they were the champ for marching last year. The first place goes to...... * drum rolls*....... Blue House! YAY after days of marching training and Hakka dance practiced secretly we won the competition =D
The Trophy is kinda big ^^ For the best house, green house won and we got 2nd. We still get a trophy so in total we got 3 gigantic trophy that shown the rest that we 'raided' the prize =)

Once the announcing part is finished, we immediately end the day with the last Hakka dance and it was fun to do it with lots of people looking at you and they cheered after we performed that nicely ^_^ After that, we went to our 'House' to take a big group pic together with all the trophies won.. This pic has captured all the glory and hardwork paid off because everyone were just too happy for winning the competition after training so hard and sacrificed their time. I took lots of picture and hopefully I can upload them here after my friends pass them to me since it was taken with my friends camera =)

In conclusion, I learnt a lesson that hardwork does pay off and this has strengthen my determination to study harder. I wish next year we can win the marching competition too ^^

NS----- Complete!

After 3 months of training in NS, I am finally back to my habitat, PJ on 7th of June with mixture of sorrow and happiness. I am grateful for being able to come back here in one piece and alive because there wasn't any fights that involved me there =D

I felt sorrow on the 2nd last day and the day we left because not everyone is going back on the same day. The first bus was taken by some of the Sandakan members at 11am on 6th Of June since they are taking a flight back to their hometown. It wasn't easy seeing them leave, as the feeling of emptiness slowly engulf our warm hearts and filled it up with loneliness, causing most of us to burst out in tears and ended up with red eyes after crying.(I am still able to hold my tears so I didnt join the crying gang) Waves of hand sent them off, and I can't stop imagining the scene where I am leaving camp with bus too.

After our last night of performing in camp, another group is leaving, which are the Terengganus. They were supposed to leave by 3am, but it was a wrong information given by the commander so they leave the camp with a double decker at 5am. Since its the last night, everyone of us planned not to sleep and stay awake whole night to guard our belongings from thieving hands. Around 2am, we went out of dorm to accompany those Terengganus for the last time before they left. There were quite a number of Terengganu members in my company too, and they asked for forgiveness from me if they ever did anything wrong. I used to dislike them because they were arrogant and disobedient, but my heart softened on that night and I gave them a friendly hug before they leave the camp. Outside of the office(the place where Terengganus wait for the bus), majority cried silently including me as I got influenced by the sad atmosphere where everyone is about to depart and we might not be able to see each other again till the next destiny cross between us and them. When the clock almost tick on 3am, the head staff announced that it was supposed to be another SAndakan group first and Terengganu will only get on bus by 5am. The scene was funny as we go back to the dorm again after hugging each other and shattering tears. Most of us decided to sleep as we got fatigued after performing on stage so they just dozed off soundly on their own bed for the last time. I tried to keep myself awake by writting a farewell letter to a pet sis that adopted me in the camp... but the silence of the night dragged me into my sleep too after a while.

The next morning, I was the only one late to be out of dorm because I didnt pack my bag before I sleep. Fortunately the bus is still there as it was waiting for the other buses to leave first. Now it's time for Selangor mates to go home. Although it's another sad atmosphere, it is not as sad as last night because there weren't much trainees left after Terengganus and Sabahs took their trip home. I hardly shred any tears even though my eyes were watery. It was probably because I am about to end my 3 months of NS life and go home to reunite with my family again. I miss all my friends too~ and the girl I love <3 Taking form 6 right after ns... Out of the 4 appliers that applied together with me for a scholl transfer from SMK BUD 1 to SMK Taman Sea, I m the only who got approved when my result was the lousiest among them =X no form 6 uniform, no books, dont know where is the school... i got not enough rest too since I have to start school right after 2 days @.@

Oh well, I believe there is always a way out in a maze so I didnt got too upset with it and do whatever I can at the moment and leave the rest to be done on their own on Monday =)

This post is just briefly expressing how I felt with the completion of NS so there aren't much exciting stories from ns. For more, check up my site again a few days to look for updates =D

I guess thats all for tonight. Good night and stay tuned for the next update~*

NS? Give me a break!

Wonder why I am here? I just got a break from NS. A 6 day break I tell you, which is more than enough. I have been longing for this moment of relieving because I do need a break from ns like others do although I enjoy NS very much too.

Do you know why? I was chosen as a company leader on 22th March because I marched the best among the 4 representatives sent by company Bravo. I felt proud and honoured when that strict marching teacher expelled 2 of my teammates from the marching test and announced me as the IC(ic means the head of a company in BM) and another Bravo member which I dont even know as co-IC. I was thinking of being a dorm leader only... but... oh well... woo hoo, IC Bravo, this sure is some post because it is the highest post in a company. That time, I cant stop imagining how cool I will be when I have 55 members under my command. I always thought things are easy when others made it look easy...

And of course its not easy to be an IC after I experienced it on my own. The teacher warned us that ICs will be punished first when company members did any mistakes. Blinded by glory and power, I thought its no big matter to be punished. I had confidence in myself that I can be a great leader for the first few days. I realized its not easy to control a company, especially when half of the members are malays. Most of them refused to cooperate at first probably because they still have doubts with my leadership. Well the rest like the chineses and indians are not that obedient too since its only the 1st week of their NS. Who wants to be under command? No one. Everyone wants to live freely like a traveller, a bird or a butterfly that travels on its own without listening to any commands. @.@

Thats when two bolders landed on my shoulders. Being an IC is not as easy as it looks now, especially when I lack of fluanctuality in BM and leadership since I have never been a leader for years. Responsibility and ego has kept me going on as an IC and I have decided to stay and fight as a Bravo till the end ever since I m chosen as an IC. Thats why I put in all my effort as an IC. Stress and pressure appeared when I always wanted Bravo to be the best. I was ill for a whole week the next week probably due to overstress and burden =/ Although being an IC is tough and stressful, I still love ns very much especially the activities probably because I m the IC. ICs need to take care of lots of things so an IC life is full of duty that benefits your company thus I enjoy being an IC. I could be some lazy ass if I wasnt chosen as an IC that time because every IC has to show a good example before they can lead the company. I m definitely a good example now xD

I will update fully on my ns story when I m back because this post is mainly for explaining the reason why I needed a break from NS. You see, I miss my
family,
home,
girl,
favourite food,
" movie,
friends,

may may I know you misses me~
so I was very happy when I m back. I was supposed to post this on Thursday night but I was busy doing other stuff so I am sorry for the late update =X

Will update more soon, so sit still and stay tuned for more exciting scenes of LCD~

To be continued...

Snatch Thief Alert!

This post is not about good news, but it's some tragedy that happened to my mum today when I was there to witness this whole scene. It happens like this...

On a sunny Saturday, we went to Klang to visit my aunt and uncle that owns a shop there. We planned to have dinner together, and we had it, finished it, enjoyed it. As we were rushing home because my mum has a another dinner later, we let our guard down. My mum walked alone on the road while the rest of us walk through shop lots because we love to pass by Baskin Robbin just to get a feel on the atmosphere. We were just seperated for 3 minutes and suddenly my mum screamed. We got schocked even before she shouted that a motorcyclist snatched her LV hand bag. That thief was still in sight when we knew what happened... so me and my bro fastened our steps out to the road.

Its pointless.... He is speeding with his motorcycle while I was just wearing slippers. My calm mind and my stuffed stomach told me not to run and chase after him because exercising after a luxurious dinner can cause apendix and a runner can never catch up with a motorcyclist. All I can do was just staring at him till we lost sight of him... the motorcycle's number plate was blur since it was dark in the evening so it wouldnt help much even though we can describe his back when we report it to the police. By the time my mind is back to reality after eating his dust, my mum quickly drove her car out of parking lot and we quickly hopped on hoping that we can still catch up with that snatch thief.

Unfortunately, we dont even know where he turned to when we reached a junction ahead of us. Sigh, the handbag must be gone by now. My mum lost her money, IC, her precious limited edition LV handbag and everything that is in her handbag. She thought she will lose her phone too... but fortunately some indian nearby found it beside his car and gave it to the nearest shop owner. I would like to praise that guy for being honest and kind after he passed the phone to someone nearby =) [See... having a black skin and being a indian doesnt mean they are all evils] My mum was so happy when she recovered her phone. We went to the police station to make a police report later on. Now she really is late for her dinner because her action of rushing has made her lost her handbag.

Well look from the bright side. At least my mum let go of the hand bag in time orelse she will be dragged by it and suffer injuries just like other victims. We are relieved that no one is hurt in this incident. However, we need to learn from this.

Never walk alone by the roadside, even though you are a boy because unexpected things can always happen on us. I really hope that none of my friends or relatives will experience such incident because losing money and IC just like this is really dishearting. You will know how it feels when your stuff is snatched and you cant do anything about it.

I will put a full stop to this blog now. Cya~

Lucky... or unlucky? =/

I went to Fenoma with ZY early in the morning today because he had to bring a maid there to renew her passport. Being a scrupulous and lazy friend, I immediately $_$ and agreed to tag along with him when he asked whether I wanna follow him or not if he pays me a sum of money(not going to say out how much) =P

This is not the first time anyway... All I have to do is just sit there daydream with him while waiting for the maid to queue up and renew her passport for 2 hour ++. The last time we came we regret for not bringing any book to read, so this time ZY brought a reader's digest along to read so that he won't feel that bored. We took turns in reading it. When I m reading it, suddenly I felt that something small is falling down through my left eye view. I had a bad thought about it before I looked at it: could it be the legendary bird shit? Nah, guessing wont help, might as well take a look to confirm it. OH NO, its really bird shit that LANDED on my left shoulder! Why.... why am I the only one unfortunate because normally birds dont fly in just to shit, and its on me only TT_TT

The 1 sitting next to me, ZY cant stop laughing and dreaming that we will hit lottery today because one of his friend's HP number appeared as the first prize in lottery when a bird flew into her room and shit all over the place. Bird shit is actually some luck that drop from sky? Nahh... thats really superstitious. Can this be the starting of my unlucky days? =/

Hope my results tomorrow will not be influenced by this misfortune. Arghhh its making me nervous when I remembered that I have to take my SPM results tomorrow >_< better go off early and stop thinking abt it. byez~ C=_=D, CD *switches off LCD displayer*~

Zaman Kegelapan

Being so free and bored without any jobs or education, I felt like I m in Europe's zaman kegelapan now. No stress, no class, no homework... no nothing! 10 more days to NS now... 4 more days to SPM result!~ >_< if it werent because of ns, I must be working by now and not called a bummer ~_~. Maybe I m going to be mundane soon....

Oh well, I will have to charge up for now. I have to prepare my energy for form 6 when I m back from ns so that I can really be hardworking and study hard this time. I feel unsecure without updating of education in myself =X

Spm result will be out on March 12. I dont feel nervous actually, but I m influenced by my friends so I kinda worried now. =S Hope everyone can pass with colourful alphabet A after studying so hard for SPM =P

Lastly, I m so happy because I dont see much unhealthy messages in my chatbox nowadays. Thanks for concerning my blog... really appreciate that ^^ got to go. ciaoz ~<3

Shabu Shabu Minus One

Most of you guys know that I used to work in Plus One Shabu Shabu. After I got fired from there, I bummed around.... well lets get back to the main point. After weeks of being fired, I finally feel relieved because I got fired on that day after Tuesday's lunch.

Me, Teng Wei, Zhi Yuan and Jin Ken went to OU for lunch on Tuesday. They suggested eating in Plus One Shabu Shabu since Zhi Yuan havent try that before. I was like ... 'erm~, ok ok lets go there and eat.' Didnt want to eat there because the last time I ate there the food wasnt that delicious for me(probably because I got fired from there so I had the uneasy feeling). Have to go there to collect my salary anyway.

The restaurant havent changed much... but the menu and part time waiter has changed. For a positive thinking, its a good thing that they fired me before they changed their menu and price. Although the price is now cheaper, the free flow for drinks and appetisers is no longer available. Customers can only have a cup of free drink and pay for the next jug of drinks. We cant eat our favourite fried bean sheet appertiser anymore since we have to pay for it. We were kinda pissed off because its not that worth it anymore to eat lunch there although the price for mixed set is only Rm 9.90 while the price used to be Rm12.90 for weekdays lunch but it includes unlimited refill of drinks and appertisers. I will be in a bigger dilema if I m still working there >_< getting fired is not a bad thing after all =)

The thing that depressed me now is some of my friend thought its fun to imitate me using my initials so they imitated me in the chatbox. I really got no comments for these people and fortunately I dont know who they are orelse I will find it hard for me to talk to them anymore. To those that has done it, I hope you stop doing it immediately no matter where you are because I believe that good people will be rewarded and bad people will be punished. Will appreciate it alot if I dont see such messages in my chatbox anymore. Thank you. Tired. so cya.

The Day with Black Clouds

Normally I will blog about interesting day, but since today is sooooo not interesting, I blogged about it too so that I can still smile away when I have similar days in the future. Before I go deeper in, here's a riddle:
When human dies, they are cold; What is the thing that is not cold when its dead?
(answer is below)

As usual, an extra lazy bummer like me woke up in the afternoon( lets see... around 12?) and had lunch by 1pm so its only 2 meal for me daily =X When I was busy playing com, my maid told me that the refrigerator(the answer!) is not cold. It must have faint because we have been using it(maybe overuse) since 2 years ago non-stop. It must be rebelling now... sigh. Called my mum to get the repairman and I continued playing games again. This time its my game's turn. I lose a lot of points in just an hour and I broked my own record in losing it. Ok.... maybe its just unlucky since the dice in the game depends on luck too. I m still trying to stay happy here.
I planned to go ou to collect my salary today, but... lazy la, tomorrow la xD Around 4pm, my maid complained again. This time its about the main pipe infront of the gate. I was soooo shocked when I heard my maid said its 'disconnected'. Without hesitating, I quited my game and immiediately went down to check on it. *worried* Oh no! Its just like what the maid has said. Under such situation, it means there wont be constant supply till the problem is fixed. Imagine how inconvenient it can be for our life if there is no water.... I m starting to appreciate water more now T_T In the meanwhile, we had to depend on tangki supply until the pipe is once again connected. Dont worry I will still be that clean and hygenic even though I currently have limited supply of water. =P

I felt that today is covered with black clouds and rain will pour in soon.

This might not be worse than others, but it is bad enough to make me feel unfortunate =(
Take a good sleep, and tomorrow will be a better day(I hope)
